We understand if you may use a third-party vacation site to manage your rentals.
While you can definitely post your vacation rental on Listings Project and on a third-party rental site, we ask that you be transparent with the pricing you post on Listings Project so that the price matches other listings of your rental.
For instance: if other sites will charge additional fees and drive up the cost of your rental, we ask that you disclose any added fees people can expect if they book your rental through a third-party platform. This falls in line with our Community Agreements.
Additionally, here are a few factors to consider when listing your space on third-party vacation/travel sites:
- Price: when listing housing options on Listings Project, your price should not be determined by local travel or hotel sites, since these sites are not offering equitable or affording housing options and do not align with our Community Agreements.
- To price your space fairly, we recommend taking the monthly amount that you pay in rent and utilities, and scaling that price to the length of the sublease. For example, if your monthly rent is $1000 and utilities are $100 per month, you should charge $2200 for a two month sublet or $550 for a half month sublet.

- External sites or links: your Listings Project listing cannot include links or references to third-party rental sites. Your Listings Project post must be personal and tailored for our Listings Project community.
